Pratyahara
Pratyahara
3 Part Breath & Pratyahara Meditation
This short 9 minute meditation is an invitation to come home to your breath, your body, and the quiet beneath the noise.
We begin with three-part breath, a foundational practice that moves breath fully through the belly, ribs, and chest - waking up the parts of the body we so often forget to breathe into. This isn't just a technique. It's a remembering. A way of telling your nervous system it's safe to expand, safe to be fully here.
From there, we move into pratyahara - the yogic practice of withdrawing the senses inward. In a world constantly pulling our attention outward, pratyahara offers something rare, permission to turn inward, to soften the grip of external noise, and to meet yourself in stillness.
Together, these practices create a doorway from doing to being, from outward focus to inward presence.
What this practice offers:
A calmer, more regulated nervous system
Deeper, fuller breath and more oxygen and ease moving through the body
Relief from overstimulation and sensory overwhelm
Greater capacity to sit with yourself, without needing to escape into distraction
A felt sense of coming home to your body, your breath, your self
This meditation is for anyone who feels disconnected, overstimulated, or simply ready to return to themselves.
Come as you are. Breathe. Withdraw. Remember.
