Shakti: Reconnect to Your Energy (90min practice)
This online practice is a gentle space to reconnect with your energy, your natural sense of aliveness, creativity, and inner balance. In yoga, this energy is often called Shakti, but you can think of it simply as the part of you that helps you feel motivated, connected, and in flow.
We begin with a short dharma talk, exploring the yogic wisdom of shakti and how that impacts your daily life.
You’ll then be guided through breathwork (pranayama) to calm the nervous system and create a sense of steadiness and clarity.
From there, we move into a vinyasa flow - a sequence of simple, flowing movements linked with the breath. This part of the practice helps build strength, release tension, and get energy moving through the body.
We’ll slow things down with some yin poses, holding gentle, supported stretches to target areas like the hips and heart - places where we often carry stress and emotion. This is a chance to soften and unwind.
To finish, you’ll be guided through a somatic body scan, helping you tune into your body, notice sensations, and leave feeling more grounded, calm, and connected.
